Being able to whip the battery out of the compartment and then plug it in so easily and effortlessly just makes the whole thing very convenient.

Super happy I went with the Roadster RM1. It's environmentally conscious and convenient, which makes it very cool. The three C's.

Getting groceries and running errands is so much simpler – especially if I need to make a few stops. The storage tank can hold more than you expect.

Here we answer the most common questions about the Roadster.

What license do I need to ride the Roadster?
What license do I need to ride the Roadster?
You need a CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) certificate or a higher-level motorcycle licence to ride the Roadster.
Can I add a pillion seat?
Can I add a pillion seat?
No, a second passenger increases the weight on the bike significantly, and therefore greatly reduces its range. We built the Roadster to deliver the best possible range and speed from a removable battery, which unfortunately means excluding riding with a second passenger.
Can I add a second battery at a later date?
Can I add a second battery at a later date?
Yes, all Roadster motorcycles are built to facilitate two batteries. Should you purchase a single battery and wish to add a second at a later date, you will be able to do so.
Charging Made Easy
The entire design of a Roadster revolves around the concept of removable batteries.
To charge your bike, all you need to do is remove the battery and charge it from any standard socket, just like your smartphone.
This means you never need to worry about planning where to charge, because you can literally ‘refuel’ wherever there is power.
To charge the bike from 20-80% takes under 3 hours and 0-100% in 4 hours.
Say goodbye to range anxiety.
